I am not sure how your response relate to my statement: treat engineers like engineers. and have engineers to do the product management. that is literally what they are educated for. But that wont work if you hire engineers to just then treat them as teenagers — everybody who is constantly treated as a teenager will become a teenager. And is a tech company a tech company if non-tech persons present the techs work? of course not. and if you aren't a tech company, dont hire techs — as you cant provide them with a proficient environment. in that case: outsource.
